Last summer my mom bought this plant and I suggested we make a fun DIY Jute Bucket Planter to hold it. We started out with an old bucket she had lying around. First off I used a beige spray paint and painted the bucket a solid color.
Next, I pulled out the jute and hot glue gun and started wrapping around the jute using the hot glue to tack it down. I used the same process for my Jute Glass Vase makeover.
This process takes a little time...but starts looking so cute!
This top area was a little tricky so you just have to go slow and be patient around these textured areas.
After we finished up, we decided to knot some leftover jute and glue it around the top for a fun accent.
And here's the final product. Perfectly beachy and cute!
