Check out these super easy Pumpkin Rice Krispie Treats that will be sure to be a hit! These are perfect for classroom parties or neighbor gifts and they are just so darned cute. :)
These are so simple. You'll need the basic supplies to make rice krispie treats.
Only change up is when you are melting your marshmallows add in orange food coloring to make your krispie treats the perfect pumpkin color. Once you have them all mixed up you can either shape them by hand, or press them into a cake pan and let them set. I left them in the cake pan and when they were set went back in with a cookie cutter to make a clean edge pumpkin shape.
Next up, grab your chocolate chips and turn this little pumpkin into the cutest little jack-o-lanturn. I just pressed them in and they stuck to the marshmallow without a problem. (I do add extra marshmallows when I make these...so mine are a little more gooey and sticky. If you can't get them to stick you can use a little bit of frosting to place your chocolate chips.)
After you have made your little treat, you can place a lollipop stick through it and place it in a bag to tie with green ribbon for the stem.
And there you go! So adorable and fun to share with others.
